Amelia Shares Hope With Her Doctor First

Dr. Wyatt's earlier willingness to listen helps explain why Amelia trusts her with both excitement and fear when the initial test is positive. Damien's voice also reassures her, but she decides not to disclose the news until further testing offers greater confidence. The opening therefore follows different kinds of support rather than a simple secret: one person holds the immediate uncertainty with her, while another is temporarily protected from hopes she fears may collapse.

How does Amelia decide whom to include in her uncertainty and whom to wait before telling?
