Relationships in the opening

Years of Care End Outside Damon's Celebration

Aria watches public images of Damon's bonding with Sera from an isolated cabin, then recalls the care and costly remedies she provided during his illness. His earlier promise to claim her gave that work a shared future in her mind, while the announcement now places her outside the community's celebration. This angle follows the difference between helping someone recover and receiving lasting recognition or reciprocal commitment for that help.

How does the public celebration contrast with the private history of care Aria recounts?
